Active Rancho played host to the premiere of the new Habitat skateboards video 'Inhabitants' a couple weeks ago and here are some photos of the Habitat homies that came out to sign so graciously!

If you don’t already know, the Berrics is a secret warehouse skate park that is owned by our team riders Steve Berra and Eric Koston. The Berrics has the world’s best skateboarders skating there on a daily basis. There’s a ton of top secret stuff going down there and this is a small taste of things to come from the Berrics.

This originally was supposed to be A Day In The Life With Braydon. It works alot better as a day with some of his friends. We left his house around noon, picked up Lizard King and Dom from Brooklyn Projects, and went to a shop that the dude from Good Charlotte co-owns. You can see him in the video when we go into the shop at the beginning of the video. They built a mini pool in the back of the shop that is super hard to skate. Lizard and Braydon skated for a little bit and then we headed to the Baker House to meet up with Beagle, Bryan Herman, Theotis Beasley, Reno, and Jigga. We went to downtown for Braydon to get a trick, but unfortunately we got kicked out after about 30 mins, which is pretty good for a Thursday. We ended up skating in downtown almost all day, Lizard tried to get a trick, but the meter ran out on the street, so we had to go back to the van. Then we went to Fairfax High, but it was knobbed, so we headed home, back to Hollywood. I hope everyone likes the video, and that it comes across as a fun day of messing around with Braydon and some homies.

Last Thursday, November 15th, Active of Rancho played host to the Nike Team that was finishing their Demo/Signing Tour at our store. The Nike Team had been on the road for a month promoting their new video 'Nothing But The Truth'. Almost the entire team rolled through including Brian Anderson, Brad Staba, Daniel Shimizu, David Clark, Dan Murphy, Reese Forbes, Daryl Angel, and Weiger Van Wageningen.

Thanks to the whole Nike Team and Crew, as well as Kevin, Hunter, Oliver and Shea!

The best Ams in the business skated Active Am 2007. The contest consisted of 30 top Ams including: Nick Trapasso, Keegan Sauder, Chris Troy, Jordan Hoffart, Jon Goemann, Terrel Robinson, Angel Ramirez, Justin Brock, Daryl Angel, Theotis Beasley, James Hardy, and many more.

After the jam session heats on different obstacles, the top 10 looked like this:

Gilbert Crockett = 81.77
Angel Ramirez = 80.77

After throwing down numerous tricks on the obstacles and impressing the judges, Wes Kremer walked away with the $5,000 grand prize for overall skater of the day.
The judges of the contest were Mike Sinclair, Paul Sharpe, Kenny Anderson, Scuba Steve, and Ryan Weber.

This year’s Bling Fest presented by Vans kicked off the day with a line a half mile long of people waiting to get into the event. Rancho Cucamonga was overtaken with skateboarding for the weekend and it was insanity. Thousands of skate and music enthusiasts came out to enjoy the festivities and walk away with tons of product and Tons of the world’s top pros were out on the Bling Fest street course skating it up for over $15,000 that was given out throughout the 2 hour contest.

After numerous hammers being dropped and tons of cash given out, Billy Marks ended up taking home the most cash for the Best Overall skater of the day, and Adam Dyet won the $2,500 KR3W Best Trick Contest with a Nollie Bigspin Heel to Backlip.

Bones Swiss Bearings are the proven best. 24 years of performance and the best just keeps getting better. Just ask new Bones Swiss rider Guy Mariano.

Back in the late 80’s Guy was rolling on Swiss, and we are happy to have him officially back on the team. Some heavy hitting ams join Bones Swiss this month too: Almost super am Torey Pudwill and Girl stylish rippers Sean Malto and Alex Olson now roll on Bones Swiss. Rick McCrank, PJ Ladd, Danny Garcia, Raymond Molinar and new pros Bobby Worrest and Silas Baxter-Neal are featured in ?S video, SKATE, out now. The Nike video premiered last week featuring with Swiss riders Omar Salazar, Wieger Van Wageningen and Swiss and Nike flowers Brad Staba, Tony Manfre, Daryl Angel, and Danny Fuenzalida.

Lakai video Fully Flared is up soon, with Swiss rider Marc Johnson’s long anticipated video part, as well as Cairo Foster, Mike Mo Capaldi and new Swiss riders Alex Olson and Guy Mariano. Osiris has their video coming out November 2nd, so watch for a banging Caswell part in that. Speaking of Caswell, A new Tilt Mode video is in the works for next year, with MJ to have more banging footy, as well as south bayers’ Jerry Hsu, Louie Barletta, Caswell, Colt Cannon and Daryl Angel. Look for all these Bones in the mags as their coverage from these filming trips comes out in photographic form.
